Our Distinctives

-INDEPENDENT- We are answerable as a church only to God. We do not belong to any national denomination, convention, or organization. In remaining independent we are free to be totally dependent upon God.

-MISSIONARY - Our goal is both local and world evangelization through supporting foreign and home missionaries by praying, giving and sending.

-FAMILY-ORIENTED - We desire to help all members of the family - both parents and children - find Christ and live for Him. We want to share the hope there is in Christ to members of broken homes. Christ is the answer for today’s family.

-SEPARATED - We stand for separation from personal sin and worldly compromise. We oppose religious compromise and doctrinal error as promoted by the World Council of Churches, their member organizations and the present-day Charismatic movement.

-LOVING - We believe that members of Heritage should demonstrate a love for God and His Word, a love for each other and a Christ-like love for everyone. Unity among the membership is a reflection of our love for Christ.

How to get to Heaven from where you are right now…

  1. You must know that you are a lost sinner. If you have broken a commandment you have sinned against God. Because He is good; He cannot allow you to go unpunished. You will stand before God for your sin.

Romans 3:10, 23; I John 1:8, Isaiah 64:6; Eccl. 7:20; Romans 5:12; Ezekiel 18:4; Romans 1:18; Romans 6:23; Revelation 20:14; John 3:36

  1. You must know that you cannot save yourself. There is nothing a sinner can do to save himself but repent and believe.

Titus 3:5; Galatians 2:16; Romans 3:20; Romans 11:6; Ephesians 2:8, 9; I John 5:11

  1. You must know that only Jesus can save you.  Religion is not the Savior!! There must be a relationsip with Jesus.

John 14:6; I Timothy 2:5; Acts 4:12; John 6:51; John 12:46 and 8:24; Hebrews 7:25; I John 1:7; John 10:9

  1. You must confess your sins to Christ and trust Him to save you. Gos is waiting for the humble sinner to come to Him through Christ

Acts 16:31; John 3:16, 18, 36; John 1:12; Romans 10:9, 3:28
